I am trying to find a place to store my 2 folding dinette chairs. Under the bed there is a support frame for the bed which is partially covered. I see that the forward part of the covered area is for the 110 volt wiring distribution panel. Anyone know what's under the reat part of this covered area? I'm thinking of cutting a hole in the rear part of the bed support so that I can store the chairs under the bed

Bruce,

We have a 2008 Challenger 378. The bed is king size with ample storage for folding chairs, vacuum and other items. Maybe they didn't cut out the top panel to allow storage?

Chuck

Hi Chuck,
under my king bed the half of the bed pedestal closest to the headboard is sealed. Only the foot half of the pedestal is open and this area has a divider board, I assume for support for the mattress. It sounds like it's all open under your bed. If there are no support dividers under yours maybe I can remove the divider under mine.
My 120volt power panel is under part of the bed but this can't take up the whole head half of the bed pedestal.

Bruce,

We also have a support/divider running head to foot, but both sides are open and available.

Only the foot half under mine is open and that is divided. Those chairs don't fit in closets so I need to make a space for them. I think I'll be removing that divider.
Take care,
Bruce
