Good morning, I need your help with a Damon unit!

I am currently looking into buying a 1996 30' Damon Daybreak. The unit has 39,000 miles on the clock and had the brakes redone with 28 k miles. The MH has a Ford 460 engine, and is loaded with satelite, rear camera, screen room, pullout table, Blue Ox tow bar, etc.

The current owner wants $12,000 for the unit.

We do not want to live for weeks in a row in this RV, and we are two adults with two big dogs, thus extra sleeping spaces are of no use to us, but we would like to tow our jeep Grand Cherokee behind it (the current owner towed a Wrangler without problem).

Would you guys recommend to buy this unit?

Any advise will be appreciated!

Hard to give a firm answer without knowing finances or actually seeing this RV. I have a Damon Daybreak and trying to sell it to get back into a Class C. Can give you more detail if you email me direct. kitfoxjh@verizon.net

I have a 2001 Damon Daybreak with an 8.1L GM Vortec engine. I have about 52,000 miles and would recommend it to anyone, but it just depends on what you want. Your price seems a little high for a 1996.
