Vents, Vents, I'm venting!

Boy do I feel like an idiot. Can anyone give me a clue why I have a second vent pipe on the roof of my 09 Damon Outlaw? The one that drives me to distraction is located over the drivers area, just rear of the roof seam (photo attached - I hope). The plumbing diagram shows nothing in this area, my bathroom has it's own vent, and the kitchen area is located on the passenger side of this couch. The only reasonable sounding explanation so far is that it might be to vent hot air from the spacing in the overhead... This all came about while installing a solar powered vent for the bathroom and discovering the second vent. Imagine my surprize.

Anyone care to guess or give me a better idea of what I'm dealing with here?

It's a snorkel. Do you know where your flippers are?

I believe they are installed for access to wiring or cables for satelite dish. I accidentally stepped on one of mine and in the process of replacing it was also surprised to find no vent, but wiring for something in there.

Pop the top off of it and take a look see. You will be able to tell real quick if it's a vent or wire chase...Happy Trails..

It will be difficult, ah challeging, to climb the ladder in flippers and mask ( I guess I would have thought about that, but it's been ages since I went to SCUBA school), but so far sound advice! My sat dish is wired on the other side through it's own portal, but yeah, sounds like pop it and explore time...

Answered...popped the cap only to discover an articulate 5 line notice (printed on weather proof cardboard) that explains the cap covers an area intended for wiring for cables, etc. So, dumb question? If they planned to use it that way, why is it that the run the Sat Dish cables though a completely different area with it's own cover and cap eh? Jeez, I am so confused. Oh wait, I shouldn't be using logic should I? Never mind at least I can stop "venting" now. Thanks for all the input everyone.
