Are we nuts? We're sitting here in Salisbury Mass, at the Salisbury Beach State Reservation...on the shore...with 6 other intrepid campers, waiting for Noel to come and go. As usual, the weathermen were wrong. Three days ago, this was supposed to be a wonderful, sunny weekend. I have three days off so we decided to spend it on the beach. We've weathered storms here before and by the time Noel gets here it will just be a Nor'Easter. Nevertheless, we're ready to move out on a minutes notice. Who said Rving was boring?

We have been out there in April NEter and put up tarps to brake the wind.
Tuff for a fireside chat.

Yeah, a bit breezy for a campfire. We've seen wind gusts to 48 mph. Really not a ton of rain...yet. The park manager has been around several times, checking on us. He said that they were keeping someone there until midnight in case we needed help. (we think it's a CYA move, but nice nonetheless)
Tomorow promises to be sunny...I hope!
