Have recently purchased a New 2008 Damon Challenger 348, traded our faithful Crossroads and sold the Dodge truck. Leaving behind many miles and memories and looking forward to many more miles and memories. On to Florida in 4 weeks.

First, Congrats on the new coach. Now you get the fun task of finding out that everything that was in your 5er doesn't fit or go with the new coach so you have to replace half of your stuff. A little at a time, though.....

And as a former Crossroads owner as well (Paradise Pointe 36SK) you can expect your Damon to be put together just as well as your 5er was. We wholeheartedly endorse both products whenever we can...

And enjoy your trip down here in a few weeks. It is getting warm again (you snow birds can take the cold backwith you please - I live in Florida for a reason and below freezing temps and snow are NOT it). It was up to about 70 today and just picture perfect weather. It's been windy this year though so be prepared for some cross winds.

So far it has been too cold to bring it in to town from the farm to load it up. We have been out to the machine shed to sit in it and dream a few times. Four weeks and we will in be in sunny FL. Hope there is some sun anyway. WHO stole the sun from Illinois anyway?? Bring it back, please.

Little by little we are getting our act together. One of the first things I wanted to do was put a cover over the steps "hole". So my husband made a wooden cover for the "hole" to be used when we are inside. We covered it with an indoor-outdoor carpet and put a fold down handle in the corner behind the passenger seat. He made it so when we are set up, it is a "doormat" outside the RV. Just thought I would share this. Hmmmm?? what can I dream up next??? 20 days until we head for Forida!!

Congrats!! We have a 2008 Tuscany 4072. Bought it new last August.....have had
some problems with it, nothing serious, just a few bugs. I will tell you that we have had a very positive experience with our dealer and Damon. They have been quick to respond to our concerns. I'd give them an "A" for their warranty. Again, congratulations on your new unit.....may you have many many miles of smiles!!!

OK, it is 27 degrees with 21 degree wind chill, we are going to bring the Challenger into town and load it. This should be interesting. Hopefully half of the pile goes to the dump!! THis should be fun
