I'm thinking about doing some welding to the motor home. Could be Electric but might be MIG welder. Are there any concerns I should be aware of?

Thanks,
Ron

OH YES
I would get hold of freightliner and ask, the sensitive engine controls i would suspect wont handle any surges from welding.
safe bet would be
disconnect ALL batteries. water heater mother board, fridge board,
ECM harness
and i bet a whole bunch of other things

what are you welding anyway?

When welding on computerized vehicles, always disconnect the batteries from the chassis. On a motorhome it might be a good safety tip to also disconnect the house batteries from the house.

Use Oxy/Acetylene only... Disconnecting the batteries will NOT help! Virtually every system in your RV is grounded to the frame.
