Went out to start the generator today, to let it run for awhile (Still in winterized state). It started up pretty good. Buuttttt...Now I'm having a problem with just about everything electrical in the RV. I checked the main circuit breakers in the coach...50 amp/ A/C's/ microwave - they're all good. The coach's fuse panel is where the problem seems to be around. All the 15 amp fuses are good... lights, patio lights, entry step, LP alarm, ceiling fans/ vents, TV's - but none of them are coming on either with the generator running or from the coach batteries. They do work when the land line is plugged in. I checked the 3- 30 amp fuses on the side of the inverter and they all look good. What am I missing? It's probably something stupid, or at least I hope so. So, can anyone help me out?

Hey Jim,
Thanks for the reply. This may sound stupid but I don't know where the battery switch is. The transfer used to be done automatically when the generator went on. That's why I'm guessing that I popped something. If you could enlighten me I'd appreciate it.

Most motor homes have a switch for the 12 volt that runs thru the inverter to convert to 110v for the TV etc. Look for it inside near the door, it is usually a rocker switch.

looked up the brochure on your MH, it comes with an inverter, it shows a bunch of switches on the left as you enter on the cabinet near the floor, look there. It should be marked battery or 12 volt.

Hey Guys,
You really took my bacon out of the frying pan. The wife doesn't like when things don't work and I'm expected to have all the answers. Jim, I thought that you were refering to a different - hidden - switch when you mentioned the battery switch. I knew of the one which is right where you said it was just inside the doorway. I had tried that one and it hadn't helped. But I do appreciate the work that you did.
This time out Skipwil wins the handy man fix it award. Inside the generator compartment behind a removable panel to the left of the generator there were two small circuit breakers. And you guessed it one of them was "popped". Threw the switch and all is well again. Skipwil, I even gave you credit when explaining it to the wife. She thanks you, as do I.
Hope I can help you fellas out sometime.

Check the transfer switch and also the breakers on the generator.
