I have a feeling there are more Ford Damons than Workhorse Damons but I figured I'd just ask.
Mine's a P-32 Workhorse.

Ford. Initially when I was selecting my Challenger both were available but the WH had 500 lbs less CCC.
Now WH builds a better chassis with more CCC. I'm very happy with the Ford chassis.

Ours is an 06 on the Ford F53 platform.
We are happy with it so far.

Workhorse W-22. I'm not a Ford Fan by the way, I've seen too many Fords die young.
In fact just last week I was driving my Wife's Mercury Tracer when it kind of acted shut off, Coasted into a parking lot and called AAA so when they got there the car was Found Off Road Dead. Timing belt.
I've never lost a timing belt in a Chevy, and my Lumina is over 200,000 miles young. Heck, Next year it can get it's own driver's license (It's a 1992)

Ford here. I think you will find more Fords, as the Damons espiecally in the daybreak and challenger models are a lower cost MH. Ford was about 5 grand cheaper, at least it used to be. Ford used to have a big advantage in the 20,500 pound chassis as it had 500 pounds(as I remember) more load cappaciy and it was about 700 pounds lighter. Of course the WH has the allison and (used to be) more powerful V-8.
Edit: rechecked my facts, it is 700 pounds lighter but has 200 pounds less capacity, so 500 pounds more CCC is correct.

Workhorse W-22.
The salesman had tried to sell me before I bought and he said the Workhorse was worth the extra money. That is his opinion and I am very happy with it, I can not put a Ford down since I have not ever owned a Ford Chassis RV.
The CCC is high on mine. Do not have good memory, but think it is over 3000 pounds.
I do know that I am almost 2000 pounds under when I had it weighed and we had all our stuff in it. Weighed in at 20,220.

I have an 03 Intruder 350 on a W22. I like the WH for the dog house and the allison. I have to say that when traveling in cruise overdrive at 60 - 65 I don't see how it could be much a quieter ride. Planning on adding a rear trac bar and new shocks.

Mine's a Ford. I didn't have a preference but I'm not upset. I have been trouble free.
I'm starting another thread..just a bit of research...

Mine is on a Ford with almost 12k of trouble free miles - actually coach and chasis both and I push it down the road with a Toyota pickup.

We have a 2002 Damon Intruder on a W-22 chassis with 19.5 tires. Workhorse has been great with assistance with problems, unlike the Damon factory people. I am a Chevy man, always been! Would like the safety steer and the rear shocks but the wife has me on a short leash on buying right now with the Gas prices over $3.00 gallon! Do very many
Damon owners do their own maintenance? we are at 23,000 miles
