Which Batteries Start the Generator?

I have a 2005 Astoria by Damon
Which set of batteries are used to start generator?

Usually the coach batteries are wired to the generator. The other batteries are for starting the MH engine.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I believe that the house batteries are normally used for starting the generator! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Welcome to the group of Damon Astoria owners! I hope you have as much enjoyment from your Astoria as I and my family have had from mine.

The "coach" batteries are the starting batteries for your generator. You probably know which of your batteries are "coach" and which are "chassis" (engine) batteries. But is case you don't, below is photo of your battery compartment. The top batteries are your coach batteries. The bottom batteries are your chassis (engine) batteries.
