Windshield wipers on Damon Essence

We have 32 in wipers and a Wexco wiper motor - anyone have problems with wipers going outside the windshield and below the windshield - it only happens when we are going about 50mph
We have adjusted the pivot arm on the wiper blade - hasnt helped.

Same exact thing that happens to us. Annoying to be going down the road and have it raining and have the drivers wiper fly off the windshield. I've even had it get stuck and had to get out and unstick it.

Very bad design there...

my driver side fell off a few times in the rain
I finally fixed the end to hold the blade on, it had a plastic lock that was weak.
if you look inside the genny door the arms actuators are jam nutted in place, mine were loose, it helped to tighten them, but they still will jump around in a side wind

optimal design was not used in this setup at all

Our 2011 Damon Astoria has the same issue. We shortened the drivers side wiper to 28" which has helped some. Thor actually paid for the initial repair and the shorter wiper blade because it was a safety issue and we are still under warranty (not for long). We also put Rain X on the windshield and it has done wonders - rains just sheets off.

Thumbs up

This has been discussed before and the fix is to go to a 28" wiper blade. Keeps the wiper blade on the windshield.

Hope this helps
