Sam,

I certainly agree with you. I have looked everywhere. No On/Off switch. I have gone back to my selling dealer, looked at another model like mine none to be found. Also, checked a 2009 371 Platinum, no switch. Dealer contacted Damon and this is the info he sent me:

"I talked with the service department with Damon and they said that the antenna has the booster built in. You do have the outlet like your Georgetown but it is packed in to the back of the antenna and is set in the on position. So all of the Damons have that but you would only have access to it if you pulled the panel and got to the back of the wiring to see it."

Regards,

It's not a huge deal as they only draw 1/10 of an amp or so but it still surprises me. You don't have the selector I posted earlier?

Sam

Nope! Looks the same without the on/off switch. Thanks.

This is the one you have , correct. http://www.winegard.com/mobile/pdf/V...nstruction.pdf They have eliminated the switch but you can easily add one to get rid of the 1/10 amp draw for boondocking.

Sam,

That is correct. I try to avoid boondocking so it should not be a problem. I say that but, next month I will be boondocking at the NASCAR race in Charlotte. Go figure...LOL. Thanks for all your help.

Regards,

If you have a box full of many buttons, as pictured up-thread, you should have a power switch for the amplifier.

if you don't have such a box how do you choose PARK CABLE instead of Roof Top ANT?

If you have the classic Winegard wall plate with the 12 volt outlet antenna outlet, button and light.. That's it

I have the amplifier switch on the RH of the TV too in the upper compartment. Problem is, it quit working. Checked and it has no 12V DC going to it. No power? Bad ground? Not sure. Is there a switch someplace that may be turned off? Or is there someplace to get a Damon coach wiring diagram?

Also, is there someplace that identifies all the switches on the dash?

Park I'm in just now has Park Cable.. Well I got a new neighbor yesterday.. he complained of very poor reception on park cable.......

Opened cabinet where antenna wall plate is.. Sure enough, Button in, Light on,, Pushed button and Chan 71 (TV-Guide on this network) became as sharp and clear as you could want

Poor guy thinks I'm some kind of wizard

Not to ask a dumb question but did you check your fuses and breakers?

I was in a trailer that had that problem too (no power to the amplifier)

The house radio (Also a 12 volt automotive type) also did not work..... Same fuse
