Wire running from outside to dash
Our Damon has a split level dash, not counting instrument pod hump. Turns out that it is very easy to run wire from engine compartment to dash by going thru the split level construction void. Looking up at engine side there is one flat plywood panel on top. Looking from floor up into dash there are two pieces of plywood separated by about 1/2 inch. The front piece is the same one visible from engine compartment. The rear piece forms the higher part of the split level. There is about 1/2 inch of space between them. This is easier to see on drivers side as blower motor fills a lot of space on passenger side but same construction void exists on both sides.
Measure carefully and don't drill to far. You can drill from engine compartment into the void, push wire into hole from engine side, use long hook to grab wire and done. Angling hole and front to back will make pushing wire in a lot easier. Drilling smallest size hole possible for each wire minimizes need for sealing hole.
