Purchased unit with Cummins ISC - 360 hp on a Freightliner CC. At 68 to 70 mph the engine temp. climbs to 216 then the fan comes ON and ROARS til it cools to 174 degrees. This happens EVERY 8 to 10 minutes.
So much for a quiet ride.......
Just seems like FL should have used a variable speed fan clutch to better control engine temp.
Everyone really look into this issue before you BUY!

I have a date @ 8:00 am with Cummins in Ocala, Fl. this morning. They have a computer that may reset the fan to a variable speed........I hope.
Have your friend contact me at this post and I will share the complete saga. I've talked to Damon, FL and Horton [ the fan clutch Mfgr. ].
I think it can be solved, but who knows?
Thanks
