i have a 2008 Dutchmen 29R express. The right slide seems to have shifted somewhat towards the front of the RV. When closing the slide now the side seal actually gets pulled back from the unit and has begun to tear in the top right corner. The dealer basically states they can try to fix it but cannot guarantee that the problem would be resolved. They also state there is no adjustment to bring it back towards the rear again.

Has anyone had a problem similar to this before? If so how was it resolved. The dealer is stating the entire slide needs to be removed and we are looking at about 14hours of labor. Of course they are also stating the Star Insurance may only cover 4 hrs and only replace the boot (side seal). Would the slide be considered part of the structural warranty?

Depending on when you made the purchase it may still be under warranty. I would contact Dutchman directly. Good luck
