When I disconnected from A/C power yesterday before leaving camp, I never got 12V to the coach from the batteries. I have good voltage at the batteries and the coach disconnect switch "appears" to be working. All 12V items work when I am connected to A/C power so the converter also appears to be working. When A/C is disconnected, no 12V items have power - lights, reefer, tank indicators, etc. It acts like it doesn't switch from converter power to the batteries. It all worked properly three days earlier when I disconnected from the previous camp site.
Has anyone else experienced this or have a good idea where I should start troubleshooting? I would wait until I finished this trip (in two weeks) and have the dealer fix it as it's still under warranty butI would like to be able to run the reefer on propane while on the road.

When you disconnect from AC power turn a 12v light on that you know works then operate or have Wife operate the 12v battery disconnect switch. Go to fire wall of coach and you should hear a 12v solenoid operate when the switch is operated. If you hear it operate your light should come on. Check also the ground connection from batteries to the frame of chassis if loose use a star washer to hold the connection and it won't loosen up again.

007 , I totally agree with you. That is exactly what I would do . and have done it a few times. To make sure all is working perfectly. I am always listening for that clicking noise.

I have done all of the above. No breakers or fuses at the foot of the bed are popped (or blown) and I can hear the disconnect solenod working. There just isn't 12V getting to anything the house battteries supply power for unless I am plugged in to shore power. It acts like the solenoid is energizing but the contacts are not making. According to the wiring diagram Four Winds supplied, there is supposed to be a 50 amp DC breaker but I haven't been able to locate it. I have searched the converter area and the battery compartment. It may be inside the disconnect box but I don't want to tear it apart to find out.
So far it hasn't proved to be a major problem as I have had electricity at all of my campsites and our trips between sites have been short enough for the reefer to maintain cool as long as we don't open the door until we get shore power again. Guess I'll wait until I get it home to the dealer and let them earn their pay. Thanks for the suggestions.

Check your feeds to you 12v fuse panel you could have a loose ground or battery lead to the panel. If you have a meter connect it to leads and move wiring around to see if you lose the voltage reading and you have checked the ground to frame of chassis from you batteries for a loose connection.
I have no ckt braker or fuse from batteries to fuse panel its a direct feed.

I thought some of you may be interested in what actually caused my problem. There is a 50 amp master breaker for the 12V system located in the same box that the chassis and coach disconnects are found in (in the engine compartment). Don't know what caused it to pop but the dealer reset it and all is well.

Thanks John (ACCSYS), my problem is fix. It was the breaker (Reset) in the engine panel box. Funny because I look in this box earlier but didn't know what I was looking for.
