I am in the process of purchasing a 1999 Thor Residency 3490 and can't find much about them anywhere on the forum or Internet. Anyone know why? Were there not many made or sold. Where are the other Residency owners?? Am I buying something I shouldn't be? Any info would help.

We just purchased one as well. 1999 Thor Residency. So far so good, but the people we bought it from did not have the manaul. I can not find one anywhere, or even someone to make me a copy of thiers.
Sorry it has taken me so long to reply to the posts on this thread I started :/ I didn't buy the Residency after all. I ended up buying a 2000 Newmar Dutch Star 3851. I've been busy working on the little things that were overlooked on the pre-purchase inspection. My fault they were overlooked. I drove it over 600 miles to get it home without a problem, but as soon as I got home......well, you know how dominoes fall? Well I've gotten a good look at a lot of dominoes!! So I'll just keep on working on it as each domino falls :tired:

Hope you like it - we love ours.
Hi
I am a Damon Daybreak owner but occasionally read about other MH. I was just on the Winnebago owners forum - the one titled 'did we buy an unpopular model' and in that thread someone with a Residency commented on how much they like theirs and they have owned it for awhile.
I thought you might check with them for a manual. Just an idea. Hope you enjoy your MH.
