I am having trouble with my 1999 Thor Four Winds Windsport 30Q Class A.
It is on a F53 Ford Chassis with V10.

Unit starts and runs fine. All running lights and head lights and high/low beams work fine.

I would be so appreciative if anyone might now what to do next. I am trying to find a wiring diagram for chassis and coach to no avail. Also, I do not know what the 4 relays are in the front hood area below the large fuse panel.

I do not know how to check the wiring to the flasher but know how to use a meter.

Problems:
directionals - not even a solid left or right light on dash, completely dead
hazards - nothing at all, completely dead
Brake Lights - 3rd light up top works but regular brake lights do not get brighter when brakes depressed. Flaky problem where it was working for a while when I pushed on the brake light switch wiring and this is why I replaced that switch. Now that it is replaced, they NEVER get brighter now versus intermittent before.

Work to date:
checked all chassis fuses
checked right/left relays under dash
replaced all front/rear directional bulbs
replaced flasher with ford original from dealer
replaced brake switch mounted on brake pedal from dealer

Sounds like the multi-function switch, or the hardshell that plugs into it. Remove the upper and lower column covers to access it, test input and output with a test light or multi-meter. Shoot me a email if you have any questions.

I have a 99 Windsport on the Ford chassis and the same thing happened to me. It turned out to be the 60 amp maxi fuse located in the Power Distribution Box in the engine compartment. It is Fuse #14. It controls the Left and Right Turn signal relay contacts, Hazard flashers, and Stop Lamp Switch. Hope this helps. - Bob
