1st time rv owner with questions

I never owned an rv before and just bought a 2000 hurricane. I was wondering if there was anyone that I could contact to ask questions about what all the switches are for and how to operate all the features like bathroom, cooktop, draining the tanks etc.

For reading information try googling the manufacturer and see if you can get an owners manual. You can also google for appliance manuals, thats what I did for mine.

Or as stated above just asking specific questions. Also try Rvbasics.com they have a great website for checklists and to answer some basic questions.

Good Luck

Welcome to RVing. I suggest you start by checking out the "Files" tab on this website. There is a world of great information for you. From there, if you have specific questions for your coach, ask way and I'm sure you will get a flood of answers.

Most of the appliance manuals are available on the manufacturer's web sites. Most often found in the "support" areas.

Try Service Documents for service manuals for most major appliances (fridge, water heater, furnace, etc.). You will need to know the make and model number of your appliance.

You might also try contacting your motor home manufacturer to see if they can supply copies of the original owner's manual for you.

Don't hesitate to ask any specific questions you might have. I am not familiar with your specific rig, but there will be many on here that are. Remember we all started where you are at one time.

Welcome, I am in the same Boat (A Newbie).....your best effort and time imho would be spent in cruising the forum and using the Search function when you get to a specific question in your new to you Motorhome....... Other suggestions, Join your owners group if there is one, Good Sam is a good resource, I signed up for their Road service which covers all of your vehicles you own including your Motorcycle or scooter. I will take the MH Drivers course down at LazyDays as soon as I can. Even though I am an Old country Boy who has worked on the Farm and driven almost everything the military has.
Good Luck and Have Fun......
