2006 Hurricane Windshield Problem

Two days into a 14 day trip we noticed a huge gap between the front windshield and the frame. Is this a common problem? Do we need to have the windshield removed and reinstalled? Do we take this to a glass shop like Safelite or a RV Service center?

Had a similar issue. RV shop sent the rig to a glass shop for repair. They did not have the large equipment to remove the glass. Had to be re-glued to the frame.

Thank you for the help. We stopped by a Camping World this am and were quoted $450 to $500 to reset the windshields. We have the exposed corners taped and hope to make it back home where the pricing maybe a little less.

Same problem

I also have a 2006 hurricane and my window is doing the same thing I call rvglassexperts and they were great and gave me the number for a local shop that would reset it for around 150 to 200. They only direct you to shops with rv expericane. Look them up on the web they can get u to a shop near u out of town. What model do u have. I have a 33h.
