hi all, well we brougt our new hurricane home today. we spent all day at the dealership
and went through everything that we needed to see and thanks to this forum found some things we would not have looked for.
there is some delamination on the table, the entrance door did not seal properly,we ordered a spare tire, not there it will be here in 2 weeks, went on the roof and found a 1" section of seem that was not sealed.everything else seemed to be ok,we drove it home and it drives amazing what a joy to ride.
the dualpaine windows were worth every penny no wind noise it's all good.
i do have a question to ask of any one is there a way to protect the plumbing discharge aria it is behind the back weels on the drivers side very exposed.we do alot of dry camping and the roads we take are rough and we will end up loosing the hardware i can see it now,so some input would be great.
what kind of protection should i get for the crv we will be pulling?
i think thats all for now.
thanks

Congrats on your new coach.
The plumbing area you may have to box it in with something sheet metal because of rocks you may kick up. You could try some foam wrap around pipes also.
They also make Bra's for tow vehicals to protect from rocks.
Enjoy and be safe.

Congrats on your new purchase. Like you we also have a 32e. Ours is the 2007. We have taken several trips to the west and have had a great time. Little or no problems. Enjoy
Ron

Glad all is well larry. As far as your sewer, maybe a mud flap of some kind? Mine are in an enclosed compartment, maybe because of the length? Those double pane windows are a great thing to have.My next MH will have them.

yes Frankie i think a good set of flaps might do the trick, they look like they will be a snap to instal.I'm also going to mount the generator
to the frame, four winds mounted it to the floor of the coach to much vibration inside the kitchen aria nice and quiet outside.

larry, i was just wondering if you know weather your tv is a digital tuner or old analog type tuner. you will need the newer tuner to receive the over the air broadcasts in 2009. i'm hoping the 2008 units have the newer tvs

Billy we got the home theater system with the dvd sround sound it all new tec 26" flat screen
works very nice
i didn't get an inverter with the unit so we will have to put in an after market one.
my oversight i thought the new m/h would have one in it.and i never did ask the dealer.

we like this unit alot the dual pain windows are i think the best option we went for the rig just has no wind noise so while driving we can talk and listen to the radio at the same time
we also use it in winter we will haul our snowmobiels to where ever and stay in the rig
windows don't fogup.the generator takes a while to start when -20c i think we need thiner oil for winter.
so far so good heading to brownsvill tx march 1rst looking for warmer weather.
