2011 Windsport 30Q Water Leak under Kitchen Sink

I have developed an intermittent water leak under the kitchen sink. Does not leak all the time, just when it feels like it. Looks like it comes from near the inlet lines to the faucet. I've tried running the hot and cold water and watch to see if it is the connections or in the faucen itself. Never seems to leak while I'm under there. My first thought is the crimp on clanps on the feed lines but so far I can't confirm that. It's still under warranty but I hate to drive 80 or so miles if all it needs is to replace the clamps with automotive type screw clamps. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

ps: year and model in my signature

Bill

Try sealing around the faucet base water can seep around the bottom if it's splashed

Send a message via Skype™ to LandKinaMoho
Use a minimum 200 lumens flashight. Papertowels and lots of wiping and patience. .Water will show itself eventually.

Check the water supply beneath the sink. Turn the supply valve handles clockwise until tight. And then observe whether it leaks or not.

I had a similar condition of connections weeping at various times until I started to use an inlet pressure regulator.
Another source of a leak that was hard to detect was a leaking tail piece at the sink drain.
It leaked intermittently depending on how fast the water drained and backed up the drain pipe.

Wrap the waterlines with one layer of toilet paper. The toilet paper, when wet, will show you which line is leaking.

You can also contact your public adjuster he will prepare and present your claim to your insurance company, ensuring that you achieve an equitable adjustment that includes everything you’re entitled to given the details of your particular insurance policy.
