2013 Challenger 36FD

When hooked to shore power 30 or 50 amp I now need to turn on the inverter to run the TV above the dash and the TV in the bedroom. It is also needed to get power to several non GFCI outlets. Same when I run the generator. Checked all hookups in campground and all is well. Breaker Box is good. This has happened in several locations and always need the inverter. Called Thor and they confirmed that the inverter in required for what I stated above when on shore power. I never had to do this before. The manual reads that 120v shore power will run TV and entertainment systems.
Any help is welcome or let me know if you also need to do the same.

I would check the incoming voltage at the post for a low voltage condition. I have a 2013 37 DT and I don't have to do that.

I've had this exact issue with my progressive ems on a few occasions. Have you tried taking it out of the loop? Mine is portable as well and if this happens, I remove it and all of a sudden I have power in the coach. I think it's the EMS trying to protect you from low voltage. This just happened to me while camping two weeks ago.

Thanks for the suggestions. I found the problem. My inverter is in the 1/2 bath behind a set of drawers. There is a very small breaker 7.1 amp. It was tripped preventing all passthrough devices connected to the inverter from working on 120 v when on shore power. Reset it and back in business.

I had tripped that breaker in the past but when mine tripped, none of the inverter fed outlets worked. Odd that when your breaker tripped everything on that circuit only worked with the inverter. Odd indeed!

Glad to hear you found the problem
