2013 THOR Hurricane slide out, bunk and awning motors

Does anyone know the exact model/part numbers for the motors for a 2013 THOR Hurricane 34F?

- Full Wall slide out with Lippert-Scwintech system (2 motors)

- Drop down bunk over driver area

- Dometic electric awning

I emailed THOR. They told me to get with Lippert.

I emailed Lippert and they told me to send them pictures of the motors and they could answer my question.

Well, if I had a picture of each motor I could see the model/part number and would not be asking this question.

I have some ideas but nothing is a for sure. I want to buy backups to have on-hand in the event of another motor failure. The last motor failure was fixed by the shop so I was not able to see the old or the replacement.

Thanks a bunch.

Too bad you are not in Dallas. When Thor converted mine to 3Trax, they sent two complete systems to my house. I still have one complete 3Trax kit in the box. This is for a 33SW, but I am betting the motors are the same.

Answered by LazyDays manager for me

Since so may had no idea either I will post what I found out. Lippert did not want to help me. THOR did not want to help me. Two large RV parts suppliers online did not want to help me.

Lazydays told me the 500:1 ratio motor #287298 will work for the full wall slide and the overhead bunk. The cheaper motor would also work in the bunk but if I have to replace one I want to replace with the best available cutting no corners.

I ordered two of them today to keep in my parts box.

As far as the Dometic Awning motor it is #3310423.137U

Model# 915GN19.500U

This motor is $400.00 each. Not ordered this one yet.

Your bunk most likely has 300 to 1 ratio motors, (i.e. Cheaper motor) you will need to replace with same gear ratio or the bed will not operate equally on both sides if you replaced only one motor. Not likely both motors would go bad at same time. Had this very discussion with a Thor factory tech at the recent Tampa RV show. I was have a bunk problem that turned out to be a bad cable connection between the controller and the motor. So , yes the slide and the bunk use the same motor but deferent gear ratio, so it is not really the same part #.

Part # for 300/1 motor is # 236575

Thank you! I ordered two 500:1 ratio motors and they came in today. Maybe I should order the other too. I was told its better to have the 500:1 in both the slide and bunk but I guess it does make sense for both to be the same. Will think about it.

Eventually I want to have one or two motors on hand for every bunk, slide, step and awning. I have been bitten once and it was not fun. You cannot change something out if you don't have it. When I was in the keys the closest tech was in Miami and told me he could not get there for three days. what was supposed to be a good time in the keys camping right on the water turned into a horrible experience.

Ordered 1 300:1 ratio motor and step motor

I ordered a 300:1 ratio slide motor for my overhead bunk and I found the motor for my steps and ordered one of those too. The only motor I have not purchased for my inventory parts box is for the awning. That motor I have not found yet for under $425.00 so unless I find a good deal that one might be an overnight rush order if ever needed.

If you don't mind me asking, from what source did you order the bunk motor and what price to were you able to find?
