2013 Thor Tuscany XTE 36MQ on order!
We just ordered our new Tuscany 36MQ. So excited! The layout is one of the best we've seen in any manufacturer's 36 model - - and we've done a lot of looking. We're trading in our Fleetwood 34 foot RV with Ford V10 gas engine. The Tuscany will be our first diesel engine and our first Thor product. We'd welcome any comments from other Tuscany owners. What can we expect from our new motorhome? What warranty issues did you encounter? Can you recommend any Thor owner clubs? (I think Thor gives us the first year free in their Thor Diesel Club.) Thanks for the feedback.

You are going to love that thing. Air ride suspension is incredibly smooth! We were going to get the same coach until we found the 2011 Thor Astoria(new/never titled). Thor is really good quality for the price tag. The only club I am familiar with is the Thor diesel club...IRV2 is a great site to learn many things. Pay very close attention to your walkthrough and make sure your better half is there...as they never forget anything! Congrats!

2013 Thor Tuscany XTE 36MQ on order!
Yes it is a Freightliner Chassis and currently the delivery date is end of March, beginning of April. We currently have a gas Bounder and diesel is new to us. We would like to know specifically any problems to look for when we pick it up.
Thanks
Jay and Nancy

Congrats on your new rig!
Thor provides you with 1 year free membership to the Thor Diesel Club (thordieselclub.org) which is sponsored/chapter of the FMCA (Family Motor Coach Association). This is a relatively new club and I see a lot of energy and potential to be a really good club. Among other things they have several rallies each year, the next one being in Eureka Springs (5-9 May). As Gary mentioned I also suggest that you attend Camp Freightliner, excellent opportunity to get an good look at the mechanical and servicing of your chassis.

I wonder how often and where the Freightliner camp is held...that does sound like a really good idea...
