2014 ACE 30.1 water pump/water heater leak??

So today i brought the RV home to get prepped for weekend. Was going to clean out all drains (antifreeze) etc. Everything looks fine. Went to fill the emtpy water tank...and put in a 1/4 tank of water. Turned on pump and it hums away...then after a few minutes, maybe less, there is water pouring out under the compartment where the water heater is. It is a plastic bin compartment on the ace but I can't get behind heater itself. Shut off pump, pull plugs to drain water and now watching water out where it shouldn't be. I have NO idea where this water is coming from. Pump in dump bin is dry and all is fine there from what I can see. Drilled a small drain hole in plastic bin under water heater and water pours out.

Anyone every see that? I actually went into bedroom because I can see the heater bypass in there. Nothing looks wet on the floor of the rv, seems to be below in the bin area but i can't see around the cluster of wires and ducts.

Fortunately for me i have scheduled maintenance on Monday but weekend camping is off. just looking for anything...i have no idea.

crazy. if it isn't one thing it is another.

One of two things..........

Hot or cold fitting on water heater tank cracked
OR
Water heater tank cracked

No access to backside of water heater..then unit will have to be pulled to ID/Fix source of leak

Good Luck!

Thanks...i guess it could be that. No easy way to get there. I'll just wait for service on Monday. It is under an extended warranty so hopefully no flack.
