2014 Challenger 37KT Main Battery

I am on my second chassis battery in a year. If my coach sits for 3 weeks summer or winter the battery dies. Does anyone else have this issue. I turn off the coach batteries after I camp and can't imagine the draw from the clock drains my starting battery. Any Ideas?

You may just need a new battery, have it tested. The only time I have had this problem is if i forget to turn the battery disconnect switch off.

Same problem

I also have had 2 dead chassis batteries on my 2014 ACE and I religiously check that the battery disconnect switch is left in the "storage" position when the RV is not in use. I have also left a small solar trickle charger plugged into t he lighter socket. The first time, after replacing the battery, I noticed that the radio displays a clock at shutdown unless that option is diabled ( got to be the most dyusfunctional feature ever put on a radio). However, I again have a dead battery with that radio clock disabled. Whatever the drain source is it is larger than the trickle charge input.

Followup

I called Thor tech and was advised to reset the charger circuit breaker inside the Battery Control Center on engine firewall behind driver-side headlight. Was also told that all 3 batteries will charge off of any power input regardless of the position of the battery disconnect switch. NOT SO! (at least on my 2014 30.1). Charging current only gets to any of the batteries with the batt disconnect switch in the "Use" position according to my voltmeter. That probably accounts for my 6 dead batteries (total in 10 months), as I left the disconnect switch in "store" position with shore power hooked up. (I couldn't really tell if the batt charger circuit breaker was tripped when I pushed on it but that may have been another contributor.) In another thread I read that there is also a battery CB inside the battery compartment which I will check on next. Does ANY RV maker bother to give owners this kind of basic model-specific info instead of the generally useless generic crap?
