2018 Aria 3901 loose mirror

My passenger side mirror is extremely loose. Does anyone know how to get at the bolts to tighten it up? It's behind a chrome cover that no fasteners are in view or do I get at it thru the dash?

I don't own a Thor so take this info with a grain of salt. If the mirror is loose against the side of the coach, you might be able to reach the bolts from under the front cap. On my Fleetwood, I can run the generator out and reach the bolts from the generator opening.

If the mirror is mounted solidly to the side of the coach but is wobblily then you might need to remove the chrome cover located at the bottom of the mounting bracket and tighten the bolt that attaches to the mirror arm to the bracket attached to the side of the coach.

There is a 14mm bolt that you need to remove. It is at the base of the mirror. Turn the mirror's arm toward the side passenger's glass and while do so lift up the entire arm and mirror. There is a slot that will allow you to take out the arm from the bracket. Once the arm is removed you can slide the plastic chrome cover off and then use a phillips screwdriver to tighten the two screws.

Glad to help! You can buy me a beer at the TDC Rally starting the 30th. I'll be the one in the Class A Thor Diesel .

gmadams;
i did exactly like you quoted, but when i lifted the whole arm assembly up and out of the way, which was not much because of the attached wires, the chrome cover plate did not become loose. Is there some prying with a screw driver to loosen the chrome plate. My mirror is so loose i'm afraid it's going to fall off before long. Thanks

That plastic chrome cover may need a little coaxing but it should come loose so that you can get to the screws.
