Welcome trampsrv to irv2.
Don't usually see a three-way switch in motor home. Are they three switch's in a group?
The second part of question are books or hooks?
It maybe something the owner placed himself and you should be careful until its figured out what you have.
What you need to do is trace out the wiring and check wiring for voltage to see if its 12V or 110 wiring.

Sounds like its your load center and 12V fuse panel section with a converter to charge your batteries.
Maybe a start switch for Gen and you may have one up on dash panel or one on your stove hood fan.
The three way maybe just that a lamp for three way light.
A picture may help us to help you.

Here is a Four Winds general manual may give you some insite of where you are, in the stickies above can only find 2000 to 2011 manuals for Windsport.

Just a guess, but do you have dual roof A/C's? If so, that switch may be used to control which one you can use when plugged in to shore power. Usually it is set up front, both (for use with gen running), rear.
