ACE 2015 30.2 Water pressure

I've noticed that when I'm hooked up to an outside water supply with a regulator on, that my water pressure is no better than when I'm just using my pump, does the coach have a built in regulator it seems I should have better pressure from the outside source. I just know if the water was passing through two regulators.

Your coach most likely has a regulator in the shower mixer but not in line. Depending on what type of regulator your using and the parks water pressure your pressure is too low. An inexpensive "regulator" is simply a water restrictor not a pressure regulator. It is set at 40 psi. Some faucets have back flow devices that also somewhat impedes the pressure. Valtera (sp) sold by CW is a pressure control device that I set at 60 psi. Most modern coaches are plumbed to accept greater than 40 to 45 psi that the restrictor is governed by. Also we use the oxygenic (sp) shower head that greatly increases the pressure when confronted with a CG that only has 40 psi. It really helps. Try removing the restrictor and see what happens. I would check with Thor to insure what their psi rating is on your coach.

I will try that as well, the water in our shower just sort of dribbles. Not possible to shower or even wash your face. I was going to have Thor look at it. Where is that regulator located?

Something sounds wrong. Have you removed the head to see if any debris comes out?
Ours has pretty decent water pressure.
I use a regulator and filter when hooked to campground supply.

You have to install the regulator at the outside CG faucet. If you haven't used one then your NOT restricting your psi. Most likely a blockage. Good advice to check the head. Remove it and check your pressure. Do you have good pressure at your sink or basin?

Pressure to the whole unit seems very low. Took the regulator off the CG water without change. Took the shower faucet apart without a change. We just thought that motor homes had no water pressure. Maybe I need to chase this below the floors.

Do you have your exterior shower turned off? Do you notice any pooling of water under the coach indicating a pressure leak? Water heater by pass ?

Have you measured the park pressure? Chances are that if the pump has more pressure then either the park pressure is low or there is a restriction in the line somewhere. Probably sand in a screen or the shower head.
