ACE 29.2 - Adding a Winegard Satellite

I've decided to add the satellite, but also keep the stock Wineguard antenna. It would be much easier to just take the place of the antenna, use that same hole and coax, but I've decided to keep it and put eh satellite in a different location. I'm thinking of putting it in teh same exact location, just on the drivers side, where the antenna is on the passenger side. In looking up at the ceiling, it looks like I would not be int eh way of electrical or AC vent ducts, and would just be to the inside of the slide out when retracted. Any advise here before I get started, I plan to do this in the next two weeks when I get some time.

The coax and additional cable would come through the ceiling in the cabinet above the sofa. The receiver would be in that cabinet, and I would use the existing HDMI cable to connect to the TV.

HDMI = Satellite
TV = Antenna or cable

Do you have the schematics for your unit?
What you see is not always what you get.

I'm going to reach out to Thor today to see if I can get someone on the phone who would know the ceiling and any wire routing. Before I put any holes in.

THOR customer service sent me a pdf with complete drawings of my Windsport roof. Satellite dish backer is on the passenger side in my case.

I finally got the drawings, the backer plate they put in is right above the passenger seat. Will try and get this mounted up this weekend.

It will probably be two weeks out, but I will post the pics once done.
