Our coach is still under Thor warranty, so I'm taking it in to have it repaired.

Bummer. At least you figured out what happened. Sounds like an item to keep an I on.

Access to front overhead

I decided to install my TPMS and GPS on the overhead at drivers sun visor. In the process found that the underside of the upper bunk front cabinet enclosure is easily accessible from the bottom. Wish I had found this before running wires for speakers and lights in the cab area. Some pics follow of the screw locations to remove the overhead panel cover.

4 screws at each sun visor

3 screws along windshield edge with snap off upholstered caps.

Works better with two people due to length of panel cover.

Sorry, didn't take a picture with the cover off.

Shower Ptrap access

Floor of my shower was spongy around the drain. Located P trap access. Stacked cut blocks of wood with construction adhesive between each one between shower decking and bottom decking around tub drain. Used 6 pieces pressure treated 5/4 board in each stack, two stacks. Firmed up shower pan very well.

Access is framed with metal tubing. Center of access is located about 5" to the rear of the center of the axle, and 9" in from the outside edge of fender well. It was not cut through bottom board (1/4" luan?). Trap was visible once I cut the bottom board. Trap, pipes, wires are in the area, cut with caution.

I could have sworn it was coming from overhead bunk area.

It is a loose radio in the mount and it rattles up and down.

My solution: Took off the front plastic face trim. Cut a 1/2 inch x 3 inch strip off a piece of pipe insulation foam. Slid the strip of foam horizontally into the top gap of the radio between the radio and the metal frame mount. Worked the foam strip back into gap to where the front plastic face trim could be reinstalled. Pounded on the dash over the radio near the small depression area. The dash noise is gone.
Glad you found it to be the source, this was the rattle I also was sure was coming from overhead when I tore into the overhead bunk cabinets! Since then mine has been quiet as can be!

i will have to do this also as my access was not put in. I knew where it would be. I think they just got lazy in factory on this one.

Well we did probably one of our last trips last week. Hits a couple parks up on Lake Erie. Gotta say it was another perfect flawless 5 days! Great time as the weather was out of ordinary with 70 degree temps. We just drove the rv from our camping spot to the beach each day and sent the day there. We might be able to squeeze in one more weekend locally. Hope everyone has had the same luck with theirs.

Ps: currently out mpg is hanging at 7.5.

This summer about half and half. This last trip we did not. We lose up to 1mpg if we tow normally but I expect that to get better as the engine breaks in. We currently only have 2300 miles.
