ACE 30.1 generator issues in 2014?

ACE owners...my 2014 is having the issue of random shut downs after being fine for 20 mins or more...i had thought this was a newer model version. The dealer did the 'wrap the gen warranty' item but says it is still happening. They ordered a new fuel pump but haven't installed yet. Has anyone 'solved' this yet? Curious as to any feedback...
thanks all.

mostly the gen issue has been the 29.2 prior to 2014, but if you search there are a few discussions on this topic. I have a 2014 30.1 and have talked with another owner of the same and neither of us has had gen issues. Good luck

Not sure about that, it seemed to affect most versions prior to the 2014 years. Might still be affecting them.
One thing to check is your amount of gas. Once the tank hits 1/4 left the generator will shut off.

Thanks all...for sure the gas level is not an issue. I know enough to be sure of that. The dealer says they did a fix to 'wrap the gen'. That was a Thor warranty item...however visibly i can see nothing they did.

They are replacing the fuel pump was been the common 'fix'...what I was hoping to find is someone to say that really worked. All my research had this being an issue when the gen was too close to the engine bay. Mine is not...2014 is back as we all know.

The latest...not very hot..turned on...started...let run a minute, waited for switch...then turned on A/C...and gen stopped. More fun...gets better and better!

Oh well...

See this: http://www.irv2.com/forums/f121/ace-...125555-50.html Look at post #693. We have run ours in extremely hot weather after the latest "fix".

Hopefully this will help. Replacing the fuel pump is not a common fix. The common fix is ADDING a second fuel pump.
