ACE owners radio reception bad?

Any ACE owners having issues with the stock antenna? In my 30.1...i can get a radio station at home no problem but driving away about 10 mins the station becomes un-listenable with static etc. I know i get the same station for the next 60 miles or more. Then at the campsite my buddies TT gets everything no problem and I get nothing but crappy static. I added an antenna booster (knowing it my not solve the problem fully) but it didn't help AT ALL. The antenna seems attached ok...because when I remove it I do lose the radio completely. Anyone have that issue? New antenna? Thoughts or suggestions welcome.

Unlike all our other vehicles and under same circumstances, the Jensen radio in or Ace emits loud snapping static when traveling near, under, or alongside power transmission lines - basically unlistenable - an occasional nuisance - needs a filter or something. Not much help here, but at least you know you are not alone.

Wow that isn't good. What is funny is it just seems to have a weak antenna. In the driveway I get perfect reception and even at the camp site and little electric in the air...still horrid. The booster does nothing. I'm going to try to add a better antenna and see. It sucks to get mon good radio stations when I know they are there. Thanks!!

Have never had good reception with my 27.1. Having the dealer look at it this week.
