Sorry George, I haven't been on the site for quite a while, didn't see you post until too late. It actually was quite easy to hook up once I found the stupid connection under the dash. Nice to know other couples ride & MH too. See you all in the Spring.

I uploaded the factory diagram showing the C210 connector under pics. It's the only one under my name.

hi lisa, i read in the ford mh chassis literature that there is a trailer wiring harness on the chassis, is that the one under the dash. i would think it would be on the back at the frame section.

that is OK , Lisa G , yes it was the D210 connector. the Ford dealer knew where to find it, quickly. heck I even gave the installer a $40 tip.

billyb, The wiring for the trailer connector does run along the chassis to the rear. We were talking about the factory installed connector under the dash for the electric brake control. When installing an electric brake box you actually have to follow the wiring from the trailer plug (in the rear) back toward the front about 8 feet and connect the additional wires. The trailer plug installed on the Hurricane is only a 4-pin. You need a 6 or 7 pin for an electric brake equip'd trailer. That was the easy part. Under the dash was difficult. Lucky I'm small and stubborn.

thanks for the reply lisa. i did look at a 08 windsport, and i see they do have a trailer hookup at the back end. this will be all i need to hookup my car when i go to pickup my new unit. the only thing i will have to do is run a wire to the back for a light to mounted on the daash for the toad" brakes light" to show when they come on.
