Anyone use a BT transmitter to connect to bedroom stereo?

I'm looking to get music to play through all speakers inside and out of the ACE.
So, it appears to me the simplest would be to hook a BT transmitter into the audio output jack on the front of the main head unit and pick the signal up with the head unit in the bedroom.

My only question is whether anyone has found a transmitter strong enough to do this without static or cutting in and out.

*I just realized that plugging a transmitter into the output jack will probably cut the sound out of the front speakers...

I use a Craine transmitter for my xmradio. But you did not say what you are trying to repeat.

The more I start to think about this, the more I realize it may not work.
I am going to plug my phone into the main head unit. Currently I plug it into the front aux.
So, I would then need to run a BT transmitter from the back of the main unit to the bedroom unit.

Thinking out loud...it would be nice if I could transmit the signal from my phone to the bedroom BT receiver and to one plugged into the main unit since it does not have OE BT capabilities. However, I believe smartphones will only you to link to a single BT receiver at a time.
