Hi. We spent the last few months working on buying a 2016 Outlaw 37LS, only to find out at the last minute that there was nowhere in the cabin for my 6' tall husband to lie down during travel (he's disabled and must lie completely flat).
So we were excited to see Thor's website advertise the 2017 37BG as having a "dream dinette" with a 75" long sleeping area. We started shopping and were about to put down a deposit today.
As an after thought, I contacted Thor to double check the length of the dinette's sleeping area. We had found numerous factual errors on Thor's website before, so better safe than sorry.
Sure enough, Thor customer service says that engineering tells them the dinette's sleeping area is only 70" long, and that the advertising materials are simply incorrect.
Well, I've also received incorrect info from their customer service before, so I want to ask anyone who has a 2017 Thor Outlaw 37BG if they would be willing to go out, put their dinette into sleep position, and measure the exact length (and width too, why not) of the sleeping area, and confirm the actual truth for us.
It may seem like 6" is a small thing, but it is a make or break decision point for us, so this is extremely important (and urgent, as we were going to fly out early next week to buy the 37BG).
Please help if you can! Thanks!
