Well I remove one bracket to prime and repaint and install back on the roof, prayer it doesn't rain. This RV has the brackets done once before by the dealer due to it getting rust (they order new one). This time I did them to ensure it is done correct. When I spoke with Fourwind they said that it should not get rust because the brackets are power coated, whatever that mean. I know that this is the second set of brackets so instead of ordering a new set which is going to be the same I took the mission and sand, prime, and paint. One bracket I was able to remove, but the other I decided to leave it in place and do it. Total cost around $30.00. If I order it from Fourwind it would cost $24.95 each, plus shipping cost. If I have the dealer do it the cost is around $400.00.

I think is like that because of the awning needed to be attached on top of the roof due to the kitchen slide out.
