Basement door latches

Anyone have issues with the basement door latches not working? (2015 outlaw 38 RE) I have had to take several apart to tighten the internal screw. I have one that is closed and I can not open because latch is not working.

I have had multiple issues with the basement doors. Very Frustrating.

If your latches are same as the ones on Challenger. See post 1873
