Question BCC repair A/c issue

2011 29.1 ACE. Repair facility just completed BCC recall per Thor. Dash A/c does NOT blow through the dash vents that face driver and passenger, but does blow through the large vents close to window. Anyone else???

Air dam vent controls are usually driven by vacuum but could be electric--either the vacuum source is disconnected [rubber tubes], vacuum source isnt working, or control panel on dash isnt working/connected.

Is the air flow coming through the defroster vents also?

bcc repair & a/c issue

yes cold air does come through defrost vents up close to windshield and is cold. old scout is a vacuum issue on Ford or THOR (your opinion). Thanks for response and help. Still pleased with my ACE!!

....not familiar with your particular rig but usually the dash air system is an automotive issue made by the chassis maker vs the RV maker ....if your rig is gas--the vacuum is pulled off the engine just like a regular car....if diesel, the rv manufacturer adds a 12v vacuum pump to drive the air dams....still guessing here but it sounds like a vacuum issue...need to look for a vacuum hose that has come apart....on the fire wall or under the dash......

Can you explain just what is a "BCC recall".
I see a BCC referenced in the Thor manual having to do with fuses, but no idea what it means.
Thanks!

Take a look at this thread. There was a recall on the BCC I think last year or even the year before.

I looked around the BCC on the drivers side inside the grill panels and did not see any vacuum lines that they could have disturbed while doing this simple recall. On mine the A/C air only comes out the round ducts in the face and the top of the dash, not the rectangular ones...I think they are only for heat. Did they do any other maintenance to the coach? It could be easy to disturb something if they had to remove the engine cover in the cab. I would look in there to see if something got knocked loose since it is so close to the AC controls
