Thanks, heard of this before and anotger popular one is a few large bottles of cheap coke. I do plan on trying at some stage, partly for interest and it'd be nice to see the tank guage work, well at least once
I seem to have the measure of our tank now, secret is as mentioned above, plenty of flush water. The problem I see is our tank design, which seems common on a number of Damons.
It runs across the coach, shallow to the right side, depening by a few inches to the left side with a small bowl in the dump locker. Toilet is set about 3ft in so the depth beneath the pipe is approximately 8 inch, on a shallow slope. Not rocket science, but any, err, solid deposite, even just paper, hits the bottom of the tank and stops, water running away, and if not careful this build to a mound. Obviously not an issue once the water level in the tank comes up but in normal operation this takes 5 to 6 days, and equally if we pre filled we'd lose 5 to days capacity, so during this phase of use we just use extra water for flushing and no problems. This, however, does reduce off site time conciderably as we need to take on water, very annoying, but a small price to pay for what is otherwise a great coach.
By contrast the little Winne Brave we had last gave no issues, even going light on flush water, toilet went straight into a large rectangular tank, impossible realisticly to block.
Just wish Damon had put the toilet in the corner of the bathroom, ie over the deep, bowl section of the tank.
