Now that I have my Jensen radio working again I have noticed that my dash bounces so much that a CD will skip while driving. Also my camera monitor will flicker on larger bumps in the road which I assume is the connection coming loose.

Has anyone added any supports to help eliminate this bouncing?
What did you use for support?
Whre did you attach the supports?
etc, etc........

Ah yes the famous Hurricane Dash bounce.

I did some reinforcing on mine (1999). Do a search in this discussion forum for "El Cheapo Dasho".

"007" thanks for the link. Unfortunately my dash is not the same as gregd's. My TV is overhead with the radio/CD and back-up monitor to the right of the dash area where his TV is.

Thanks anyway.

Skams, I had a Bounder with a bouncing dash and I wedged on both ends of dash a thin board with glue on back side of board and pushed between wall and dash, than screwed thru fiberglass dash into board glued on wall.
No more

IS your furnace now working?????

I am going to have to do something myself in the spring when it comes out of storage.

The furnace is working. If I recall correctly it was a board issue in the thermostat that was the problem.
