Cool Challenger leak

I've had two leaks in our '08 Challenger. One hydraulic leak under the kitchen slide out. This was a loose fitting but did make a mess. Second is a water leak under the living room slide. This only happens when it is raining and we are under way. Slide is in (of course). DW noticed that you could see the ground at the corner of the slide. Looking under, I believe an incorrect weather strip was used. Looking under the kitchen slide (while repairing the other leak!) I see a different and much better type of strip sealer. However, I have not been able to find the manufactor of the strip and Keystone has not gotten back to the local dealer. Any one out there have any suggestions?

I'm going to reply to my own post. After three days trying to get Keystone to help and lots of time spent on search the internet -- Dealer in Montrose, CO found the part number, I found the original company that made the weather strip ( a custom order for Keystone) and they are sending me the strip free of charge. Company is Ltiflex (.com). Seems to be good people there and at the Dealer (Premier Truck and RV)

georgetown350 - sorry I did not get back to you. We have been boondocking. No, the strip did not fix the problem. We had wet carpet on the way to Yuma from Colo. (lots of snow on the Interstate). Also had wet carpet under the big slide and under the frig. while we were at Imperial Dam. This area received over 4 inches of rain in 2 1/2 day which is as much as they get in a year.

No problem Richard.
Our bedroom also leaked when in the closed position until I sealed all the seams with clear silicone. Now it only leaks when it is in the extended position. ( I guess I had two leaks).

Maybe its time for you to break out the silicone?
