I have some warning stickers talking about slide locks. What are these and where are they located ? Are they needed ?

big daddy, they are a double screw ended bar with Teflon pads on each end and the are installed when the slide is in to ensure it stays in when travelling. Simple to operate but easy to forget when running out your slide. 1/2" buy 18" or 24" depending on the slide size.

My new Challenger 37GT came with 2 slide locks, one of each size. The only time they need to be used is if a slide mechanism has failed and the slide won't stay in by itself. The Schwintek motors lock the slide and prevent it from moving. I've never used slide locks and have never had a problem of a slide moving while driving.
