Challenger tv mount

I have 2015 37 kt, how doe's one remove the front tv, the one over the fireplace? read somewhere it's a magnetic attachment, doesn't seem right, anybody done this?

I'm sure it's not a magnet.. You just gotta get a flash light and look behind there.... these tv's mounts are off the shelf mounts. If the mount does not pivot, generally there would be a set screw at the top on each side.. then it just lifts off. Some of them are friction mount.

The reference to the magnetic mount is typically used on a mount that extends and is used to keep the mount secured from extension while traveling, not to mount the TV to the mount itself.

That makes sense, mine has a latch.

Our 15 KT TV is mounted to a wood panel and the panel is wood screwed to cabinet frame. To remove - recommend four hands - find screws around outer edge of TV and remove.

I have the 2014 Challenger KT. Mine has two nylon loops located behind the bottom of the TV. Pulling down on these two loops disengages the bottom hooks allowing you to rotate the bottom of the TV out. Thus allowing you to lift the TV top two hooks off the rail mount.
