These dealer supplied water regulators widely vary in quality and pre-set. Plus the device can also be a simple flow restrictor vs. pressure regulator.
To be safe, I ditched the cheeeep one I got from the dealer and bought a high quality pressure regulator from a RV supply.
I also bought a water pressure gauge that goes on the end of the water bib to test campground pressure before hook-up...because, sometimes campground systems are already low pressure. In that case you don't need the regulator at all. Like this:

The gauge just screws on to the hose connection...easy as can be and a cheap way to check.
Of course if the campground water system has pressure spikes and valleys, using a regulator is good insurance...best to have a good one.
