We owned a 27 foot Jayco Jay Feather for 4 years. Pulled it with an F-150, 5.4L, 4x4 and it was a terrific match. Small things to fix up but a great TT. Door lock mechanism failed on us and the factory sent an entire door kit complete with decals for that side.

If I were shopping for a TT I would buy Jayco.

Also like I said we are entering our 7th season in our RV hybrid. You have to take care of your unit. Treat it as a member of the family....and it hopefully it will give you many years of safe shelter.

I vacuum top to bottom a few times each season. While camping for a week, I have a small Shark vacuum I'll use about every other day. We take our shoe off while in the trailer. We have bath towels on the dinette seats. We have a carpet runner that runs the whole length of the trailer main aisle. I'll wipe down the cabinets a few times each season. On the outside I'll wax the exterior maybe 3 times a season. I'll use silicon spray on all the slide gadgets and door seals monthly...I even wax the AC, frig vent covers and antenna on the roof. I'll clean the roof 3 times a year and apply some TPO protectant. I'll clean the awning both top and bottom every month or two.

Coleman CT260

I own this travel trailer and love it. It has far better interior than the other trailers we looked at. However, I do have mine for sale if you are interested in saving some money versus a brand new price. I have had mine for one year and been out in it 4 times. Still brand new! Let me know if you are interested in it. I have it on craigslist for the chattanooga area. We need to sale this trailer to pay for a new business start up. Its the only reason I am thinking about saling it. GREAT TRAILER

Hmmmmm....we are thinking of the CT240 (now the coleman CTU240RB) because we think we like the floorplan. But after reading this I'm not sure. We owned a Coleman popup years ago and really liked it. Does anyone know if the Coleman or the Dutchmen Kodiak 241RBSL is cheaper?
