Having problem with king bed bedroom slide. Will not work under battery power. Works fine under generator or shore power. Other 3 slides work fine under battery power. Dealer replace slide drive motor. Slide worked fine 3 times then stopped working again under battery power.
Looking for help, suggestions, similar problems?, resolutions.
Thanks....

TRACKS traveler, Welcome to iRv2.com. After 19 post and nobody replied , I see this is your first post. Has to be a loose connection check all the wires and ground connection when it is on battery. On gen it works normal or slow?. How about when it is on shore power nomal or slow? Try charging your house battery fully with a separate car charger and check the acid count . The easy 4 balls floating trick. That is a heavy bed on a slide with a small little electric motor. You need a fully charge battery .
Just like when your levelers won't come down or are very slow on battery. It is your battery. have it check out. How old is the battery?
if it is still under warranty take it back to your dealer.
My money is on the Battery , might have a bad cell!!!!!!!!

George, thank-you for your reply. Batteries are a year old. I have had them checked and all are OK. Other 3 slides work fine on battery power. Slide operates at normal speed when under shore or generator power. Slide did work for 3 times when LazyDays installed a new drive motor. Then nothing but all other slides continue to function properly under battery. Thanks for you suggestion.

This isnt making much sense to me.The only thing I can think of is your bedroom slide is running of your converter directly? What system do you have?

Frankie, thanks for you assistance. I am sorry, but I do not know what you mean by "what system do I have?". Which system are you referring to. Please forgive my ignorance. Bedroom slide did work 3x once the motor was replaced, then back to not working off battery.

FINALLY, A SOLUTIONS!!! After a year+ of problems, a solution has been found. Motors were replaced, breakers replace and a lot of time wasted. The problem turned out to be a controller for the slide. Don't know why this wasn't check as part of the diagnostic phase, but at least the slide is working as advertised.

I have the same problem as you had. The driver rear slide (bedroom w/king bed) will not come in. The other 3 slides work fine. The manual states there is a slide motor. Do you know where the slide motor is located. I don't seem to find it. We just bought the 2007 Damon Tuscany last week. Still parked in our driveway.

Mine is not going out all the way at the bottom. The top is out all the way but the bottom still needs to go about 2-3 inches. When you look at it from the outside it looks crooked. Seems like we are having trouble with these king slides.

We had the same problem, still do actually. You have to keep pushing the button. It will move a short distance and then stop, push again and it moves again. Takes about 3-4 efforts to get it out. Comes in OK. Must be a manufacturing defect for the switch/controller? Or perhaps the connectors are not crimped tight enough?
Glad yours is fixed!
