Door latch - can't open
I can't open a basement door. The door latch has loosened up on the inside and pulling the latch does nothing. Any ideas on how to get in.
I have had issues where the latch gets stuck in the open position and will not close, I take the latch apart and tighten a screw and good to go. Problem is now I can't open the door.

Can you enter from another bay?
Is the latch on the side or bottom of the door?

It's a Generation II Outlaw Residence Edition...very similar to a new Challenger except for the big wedge body in the rear.
Has side swinging bin doors/Side hinge and Latch.
Ours are very different, so we can't offer any helpful ideas.

Maybe drill out the latch and then just replace it w/ a new one after you get it open. A locksmith should be able to make short work of getting it off.

Which compartment? I can look on our 2015 38RE and see if there is anything obvious that might work.

Had that happen on our Challenger KT due to service tech's closing door on power cord vs taking time to run it thru cable port. I was able to reach the interior screws from adjacent bay. Job probably best suited for skinny 10 YO. Problem solved by disassembly of latch housing and bending latch bolt till straight again. Otherwise drill after taking a good one apart to see how it works.

Thanks for the ideas. I ended up drilling a hole so I could use a screw driver to push/move the lever back in so the door would open. It was one of the rear doors, no access from the other side.

Jim,
Congrats, but sorry it had to be drilled. Hope you share what happened inside the latch...that is a common part on many new TMC coaches.
And, hope you come post your name here:

Try pushing in on the door, then open latch. This works a great deal of the time.
