Drilling hole for antenna cable into Palazzo 33.2

I have a MiFi and Booster Antenna and plan on attaching the antenna to the rear ladder rail. Has anyone drilled a hole through the coach from the rear and know if there are any obstructions/wires that I may damage?

I have searched all material on our coach and do not believe i will damage anything in this area. Please let me know if you have drilled in this rear area.

In addition, anyone know of the best type caulk to use that would ensure no water leaks after drilling the hole?

Thanks

Before picking up drill.. Slide under rear of rig.

in some cases you may find the rear cap is a "False cap" and you can look up into an area where you will be drilling.

on other rigs, you can not.

But that is my first suggestion.

#2 use stud finder. if it finds, drill elsewhere.

looking back from the foot of the bed... the right drawer lower access panel has access to the engine bay area... maybe the left drawer (with the sliding hamper) has the same access.

Drilling hole in rear of Palazzo for antenna booster

Thanks for all the help on this subject. Can anyone tell me the type of water proofing bonding compound to use that will ensure no water leaks?

The factory likes to use 3M 5200 on the roof. I've used it when adding to teh roof with no issues.
