Our Thor 5er's bedroom escape window wasn't properly latched. Noticed it flapping while going down the road. It now seems to be sprung somehow and won't seal properly.
Is there a way to get it to seal again, short of total replacement ?

With only vague information, I would suggest foam weather stripping and prayer.

There could be a latching mechanism that could be missing?

Consider yourself lucky. I forgot to latch the escape window closed and ended up with the window smashed against the side of the trailer when it ripped loose in the wind as we drove down the highway.

Guess I got lucky. The sun was at our back and when the window swung out in a ghust of wind, I saw the shadow flicker on the roadside, in the corner of my eye.
